CANDYLAND

75% Sativa

Grandaddy Purple X Bay Platinum Cookies

Candyland is a cross of two very well known strains that are hard to come by these days, Granddaddy Purple and Bay Platinum Cookies. This strain leans more Sativa dominant, about 75% and has an average THC content of about 18%. This strain takes about 8-9 weeks to fully mature and if you are growing indoors you will yield around 800 g/m², if grown outdoors you can expect 900 g/m² during your harvest in early October. While you can grow Candyland indoors or outdoors, it thrives outside, particularly in a warm, sunny, and dry climate. This plant grows quite tall and lanky. Its skinny frame comes under a lot of pressure from the added weight of the growing buds as they begin to flourish and multiply. Therefore, you will need to use supports to help your Candyland plants manage the extra weight. It is also very resistant to mold and mildew so higher humidity levels are less of a worry. It has small, dense, green buds, which can turn almost purple in some plants. During the flowering stage, a Candyland plant becomes heavily frosted with trichomes. These cover the entire plant by harvest time. It also has long and thin, dark orange pistils that grow prominently around the leaves. The flavors and aroma on Candyland are a sweet, fruity, berry flavor combined with earthy, piney notes. The main terpenes that this strain produces are caryophyllene, limonene, and humulene.
